Euclid-France Day 2012

3 December 2012, at the "Museum d'histoire naturelle" in Toulouse

The adoption of the Euclid mission by ESA in June 2012 was a great success for cosmologists and astrophysicists in Europe, with a big contribution coming from the French scientific community.

Science activities in preparation for the mission’s launch in 2020 are key to its future success. This is therefore a good time to bring together the French scientific community to review its contributions to the Science Working Groups (SWG) and the Science Ground Segment (SGS).

The objective of this day-long session in Toulouse, organized with support from CNES and Paul Sabatier University, is to provide an overview of the mission’s goals and key players at the various SWGs and the SGS.
